Caleb POV
Daliah's eyes look like they are ready to burn the place down, but he body language is calm. she closes her eyes for a second taking a deep breath before opening them again "how did you find me dad?"
Alpha Geoff chuckles and shakes his head, "took me a long time princess." he almost hisses the word 'princess' it makes me uneasy. I stand a little taller ready to protect Daliah.
Geoff notices my adjustment and glances between the two of us "so I take it you two ended up together huh." I watch him look over his daughter closely "Why aren't you marked?" he asks accusingly.
Daliah shoots daggers at him never glancing away, she doesn't trust him in the slightest "that is none of your concern. Now, how did you find me?" she demands.
I feel a strong heat radiating off of her, her eyes seem brighter suddenly. I feel the urge to kneel to her and show my neck as a sign of submission. I fight the urge but I notice her father is struggling with the need to as well. Her aura is strong, stronger then most Alphas I've encountered.
Geoff takes a step back "I've been tracking you for five or so years now-"
"Why?" she demands, more heat coming off of her. She looks like she is fighting with her wolf as well, her eyes keep changing from purple to black.
"You are my daughter Daliah. Like it or not you belong at home with us." he states.
"Bullshit!" she spits out and runs her hand down her face. "Family wouldn't try and force their daughter to be an omega to his chosen pregnant mate."
in a blink of an eye she has him pinned against the wall with a dagger against his neck. "That pack should be mine. I am the rightful heir. I should be Alpha. but no. instead my father banished me. I figured out MY life alone without you around." she pressed the dagger into his neck and he hisses in pain.
"Daliah-" her eyes dart over to me and I see her wolf has taken over she blinks a few times and the black firey orbs slowly turn back to purple.
She steps away from Geoff and he quickly presses his hand to his neck. She tucks her dagger away and looks up at him, "Leave my home Geoff. If I see you around again I will not stop. I want nothing to do with you or your pack."
Geoff looks at her like she's grown two heads but the moment is brief he quickly adjusts himself and stands taller "You will regret turning me away Daliah. I will be seeing you soon."
He turns on his heel and walks out the door. Daliah quickly shuts the door and looks over at me "How did he find me? did you have something to do with this?"
What! How could she even think that? "Are you serious Daliah? He banished me. First off why in the world would I help him find you? and secondly YOU are my mate. I don't like seeing you upset or uncomfortable." I take a step towards her wanting to hold her and needing to be closer to her.
She holds her hands up and steps back. I freeze and stare at her but she won't look at me.
"I have to go." She slips on her combat boots and rushes out the door. I stand there staring at the closed door. I want to chase after her. I want to talk to her but I know it's useless to try until she's ready.

Daliah POV
I hope into my car and speed down the driveway. As soon as I hit the road I blast the radio and listen to some ACDC.
I slam my fist into the steering wheel. I'm so frustrated how the f**k did he find me! I covered my tracks so well this doesn't make sense.
*Elliot.* Rhea whispers in my head.
*s**t you're right! I had to tell him who I am and where I was from of course it was him!* I groan in frustration.
I pull into a small coffee shop in a near by town; I grab my laptop case and head inside.
"Hey Miss Daliah, the usual?" Leonard the old human who owns this place hollers from behind the counter.
I give him a warm smile and nod "Thanks Leonard."
I sit down in my normal booth and pull out my laptop, I do my best work here. It's comfortable and homey.
Leonard sets my coffee and muffin down on the table and slides into the booth across from me "Long time no see Miss Daliah, what have you been up to lately? Find yourself a fella yet?"
I smile and take a sip of my coffee "no Leonard, not yet." I see the glint in his eyes "and before you say anything, I am still not interested in your grandson."
He chuckles and shakes his head "Can't blame an old man for trying." he shrugs and gives me a warm smile.
I narrow my eyes at him and smirk "Maybe I don't even like men Leonard, what if I prefer the company of a nice lady?" I ask.
His smile grows wider "Well in that case I do have a lovely granddaughter who you might find delightful." he looks at me hopeful and now I feel bad for teasing the old man.
I smile and reach out and touch his hand "I think I'll have to pass on this one too. I'd hate for it to not work out and then I'd never get to come on here and enjoy your company." I wink and he chuckles.
He stand and pats the top of my hand "I'd choose you over her, at least you come visit this old man often." he winks and walks away.
I smile warmly I really do enjoy my little chats with Leonard, he's like the dad I never had.
I turn my attention back to my laptop, while I wait for it to connect to the wifi I pop a piece of muffin into my mouth. As soon as it boots up I get a ping from my email.
I quickly open it to see that Ricardo emailed me back, he is a pretty impressive demon who usually ignores my requests for help. He lives in New York and is the CEO of some infrastructure company. Believe it or not most higher level demons are CEO's in a major city.
I click on the email and almost drop my coffee as I read the words on my screen.
'Huntress, the witch you are looking for is no joke. She preys on people in love. I recommend if you are in that disgusting state of mine you avoid her or she will use it against you. But if this is unavoidable from what I know she is located in the Midwest. She hides out major cities to go undetected, but if you want to summon her I suggest you request the help of a higher level witch who can trap her. To summon her you will need a few things. Unfortunately for you one item you will need, The heart of a marked male wolf...'
