The shuttle fell out of the sky as if it were dropping through a black hole. Nothing much slowed the damaged craft, except for the hopes of those on it. The gaseous mix of the Al’Amal atmosphere kindled re-entry flames that engulfed it, and, in a matter of secondunits, the entire hull was glowing like a star.
Bernard screamed like a newborn baby. The frightened hamster hid inside his clothes.
