A Fight, A Truce Four peaceful and avoidance-filled dayunits into their journey, the team was deeply involved with researching nitrogen addition from various sources. Shayla recorded her research notes and dictated the day’s findings to Nelson. It was late, but she continued to work. Her forehead and eyes hurt with the continual reading and staring at the 3D images, and she pressed them. It was disappointing to not have found anything useful, but that was the nature of research. Failure and dead ends were commonplace. Shayla frowned and exhaled loudly. Research without actual experimentation, new data, or new stimuli was utterly useless, and completely boring. What am I doing here? Drakh! It’s all his fault. I’m going to be so behind! Nelson was still recording, and cleared its throat.
