“Mr. Nelson Divine,” Mr. Mason called out in shock as he hurried toward Alpha Nelson Divine, extending his hand nervously for a handshake.
Whispers filled the air as Grace’s colleagues stared in awe.
“Wow! So it’s true—Mr. Divine is actually Grace’s fiancé!” Anita whispered, her eyes wide with disbelief.
“It’s bad she didn’t tell any of us,” another colleague grumbled, her jealousy clear.
“I’m sure Grace had her reasons for keeping it a secret,” Kiana defended her friend. “Besides, we’re just her colleagues—her private life isn’t our business.”
“You’re right, Kiana. And look at Miss Cindy,” Anita said with a smirk, nodding toward Cindy and Victor. Both were frozen in shock, their smugness from earlier wiped clean. “Guess her mouth has finally been shut.”
