Chapter 10
It’s been two days since I essentially issued a challenge to Trey to kiss me so well I lose all inhibition and throw the game. Don’t ask me why I’m sticking with baseball analogies. Right now, I can barely keep up with what is happening and why I’m letting it happen. I’m still hurt over the fact he avoided me for three days. I haven’t told him how much it affected me. The wondering, the speculating, and finally telling myself there was no way I was good enough for him. Then, out of nowhere, he was back. He came every day to just sit and talk, not even aware Candy was helping us evade the staff so none of them would out me. It has been the best few days of my life and, undeniably, the worst as well.
