Seline waited until the thumping had died down and she only heard a woman's voice occasionaly talking. The she pulled out her phone, and sat down against the wall that her room shared with the guest room so Nick would be able to hear everything. Seline put the phone to her ear and began talking loudly. "I miss you too!" Seline said. "Oh really? What are you wearing?" "That's sooo sexy!" "Tell me more, babe." "Oh really what would you do to me if you were -" She started, but she didn't get to finish because right at that moment Nick burst in the room, face red with anger. "Who are you talking to?" Nick sputtered. "A guy friend of mine." Seline said, covering the microphone like somebody was on the other end. "Oh." Nick's face fell but changed back so fast Seline thought she had imagined it. "Well keep it down, me and Leah are trying to do something." He spat. "I'll try. You have fun now!" Seline smiled sweetly and put her mouth back next to the phone. "Sorry, that was just some guy." Nick heard that, and slammed the door as he walked out. Seline laughed, and hung up her pretend phone call and jumped in the shower, as she heard Nick tell Leah to leave. Two can play that game Mr. Andrews. ..... "Tom?" Seline said through the phone. "Sel! How are you doing my favorite sister?" He said through the phone. "I'm your only sister, loser." Seline laughed. "Besides the point, what's up kid?" He asked. "I'm older than you," She reminded him, "But I was calling to see how Dad was holding up after his surgery." "He's doing great, he's got this super hot home nurse who keeps flirting with me, might have to hit it, ya feel?" He laughs through the phone. "Tom!" Seline yelled. "What? She's a pretty little thang." He whistled through the phone and then made a loud groan as something hit him. "That was her, smacking me if you were wondering." He grumbled. "You deserved it! Now make sure Dad is doing what he's supposed to I want him to get better, okay? How does he like the new house?" She asked. "He loves it, the TV is his favorite part. He refuses to use the new chair you got him though." He laughs. "I swear he loves that old ratty one he's had forever," We both laugh, "But Tom I miss you." "Don't get all gooey on me Sel, but I miss you too." He says through the phone. "I'll talk to you later, okay? Be good." She warned. "Yeah, yeah whatever Seline." He laughed and hung up the phone. Seline couldn't remember the last time she heard her brother genuinely laugh. It felt good to know he was happy again.
