"There's a gala in New York next week, we have to attend, please pack accordingly and bring a ball gown." Nick said absentmindly while going through the mail and eating breakfast.
"Gala?" Seline questioned.
"Yes, a ball, dance, masquerade without the masks. Ever been to one?" Nick said sarcastically.
"No. I can't dance so don't expect me to." Seline sulked.
"Is that so?" Nick whispered in her ear as he appeared behind her. Seline's breathing sped up and she stepped forward, away from Nick.
"Yes." She said.
Nick had hold of her hand now and he spun her around to face him. Nick watched as her hair swished around her back after he had turned her. He turned his wireless stereo on to a slow song and put his hands on Seline's hips.
She stood there with her arms laying limply on each side.
"This is the part where you put your hands on each of my shoulders." Nick chuckled.
Seline bit her lip and put her hands where he told her. They awkwardly swayed back and forth until they got into the rhythm.
Nick laughed and dipped her as they spun round and round in the kitchen. Seline giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck.
He brought her back up, both of them laughing, neither noticed when there faces were inches from one anothers. Seline bit her lip and looked Nick in the eye, he had the sudden urge to put his lips to hers and that's exactly what he did.
Seline melted at his touch and her legs became jelly. Nick held her up and closer to his body as his tongue intertwined with hers. He ran a hand through her soft hair and she moaned softly.
"We should go to my room." Nick breathed in between each kiss.
"Yeah." She said breathlessly.
Within minutes they were in Nick's room and he could hear Seline repeatedly calling out his name with pleasure.
"Nick! Nick! Nick!" She yelled.
He was being shaken awake and his eyes opened to see Seline hovering over him.
"What?" He said.
"Breakfast is ready. I didn't want to wake you but it was going to get cold." She said softly, biting her lip, a habit she had, and running her hand through her hair.
He blinked twice and nodded. She left the room and he sighed.
It was just a dream. He thought and he couldn't help but feel disappointed.
