A sudden visitor

After a day of cleaning the house. Yuriel decided to take a bath.Luckily she found a well outside and water wasn't dried out.
After a quick bath, feeling a bit bored, she picked a random book on the shelf inside her room and lie on her bed.The rain was still pouring outside.Without knowing Yuriel fell asleep.
And hour later, Yuriel was suddenly awaken by a very loud thunder and lightning.
"Is there a storm? Why does the rain keeps getting stronger. Urg"
" Jeez.I cant sleep anymore with this storm."
And then felt urgent calling.She needs to go to the bathroom.She rise up and when to bathroom inside her room. But she forgot to fetch water after taking a bath. She remember the bucket of water she brought earlier in the kitchen.But the lamp she's holding run out if candle, and she didn't secure extra candles.But it was an urgent matter.
Yuriel decided to went outside,"there's nothing to be fear of, be brave Yuriel".
She walk outside her room.The lightning illuminates the surrounding but was not enough to fully light the path.
She was walking in the corridor with her hands not letting go of wall that serve as her guide, from the room to the kitchen. All she can hear was the loud boom of the thunder, shaking the whole mansion. And the wheezing of the wind flapping the branches of the trees outside and passing through the broken windows. Suddenly a loud sound echoed the hallway along with the sound of the thunder, which seems like coming from the attic.She was hesitant whether she will continue or will just go back to her room and will just endure the calling of her bladder, but she's a halfway to the kitchen. So she decided to ignore the sound maybe it was just her misconception.So she continued walking until finally reaching the kitchen
- weww. Yuriel give a long sigh and patted herself for being so brave. She reach the table, holding into it and then to a utensil cabinet, while flapping her hands looking for something she could be familiar with, she suddenly touched and felt an object which she immediately recognize.
"Candle!" she gladly exclaimed.
The rain seems like never ending, it was still pouring wildly like an angry beast.
'What's wrong with the weather?"
Walking back to her room and this time she can see clearly while holding a candle. A loud sound again resonate the hallway. She fasten her walk without looking back but suddenly stop with her eyes widen and shaking, her body suddenly trembled and can't move. Tall, black, golden eyes, a muddy beast appeared before her sight. Without confirming whether its a human or a monster because it was dark and only the lamp and the lightning was illuminating the mansion.' Im sure its a beast' what she thought on her mind.
' M-Monster!'
' What should I do?I need to run and hide' I need to move my feet or else,i will be a deadmeat' contemplating on what to do.
She slowly move backward and was about to run but suddenly the unknown beast also move toward her.
She move her feet again and run as fast as she good toward another room. She's about to close the door but the unknown beast grab the edge of the door preventing it to close.Yuriel lost her strength and was force to let go of the door.
"D-Dont come near me.What are you?What are you going to do with me?"
As the beast went nearer amd nearer.It spoke.
" Who are you?"
It voice was very deep.Making Yuriel froze.
'It can talk'
" I'm the owner of this house. S-so go away.Leave me alone!" Yuriel spoke bravely while trembling.
The beast became silent and still continue walking toward Yuriel.
'Please don't eat me.huhuh'
"S-stop right there.I-I command you"
As a business minded person. Yuriel courageously utter.
"L- Let make a deal.If you dont eat.I-i will grant you a wish"
The monster stop shortly and continue again walking toward her.It was 5 ft away from her now. Yuriel saw a piece of wood ,she slowly move toward it. Holding it firmly behind her back, hoping the monster didn't see it.
When the monster was about to reach her.She hurriedly hit it with the wood and was about to run.But she slipped on the floor, it was wet and her lamp fall near the monster. What she saw is not a monster or a beast but a human with black long hair, wearing a cloak and was covered by mud lying on the wet floor groaning.
'Oh my god! Did I just murdered someone? What should I do? Should I run away?'
but it was still raining and she has nowhere to run in the middle of the night.
' Who is this man?'
'A thief? How bold is he stealing in the middle of the storm and night'.
Yuriel can't think of what to do. She check his pulse, it was still beating.She decided to tie the person hands and legs in case he might woke up and hurt her. And will report him to the authority after the sun rise.
Morning came, the rain already stop.Yuriel with tired eyes, didn't even bother to go back to sleep after what happen. She check the roof for any damages ,the hole on the left side became bigger luckily no other damages. Hesitantly, walking toward the room where the man was . She grab the door knob and ask herself.
" What if his dead?" While looking around. She realized no one witness her crime.
" I should bury everything that happened on ground, including the man if his dead"
She slowly open the door. But only the rope was left.
"Where is he?"
When Yuriel was about to turn around.But a sharp knife was pointing on her neck.
"Dont move woman or else this head of yours will fall." It was the man from last night.
'How did he escape?And where did he get the knife?'
"Who are you?" Yuriel asked. " Please don't kill me".
" It none of your business." He asnwered coldly.
