Chapter 2: Alpha vs Morning Stars

[Immaculate University] ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The name Immaculate blazed across the giant video billboard at the school gates — a bold declaration of excellence. Beyond it, the premises unfolded in splendor. Sleek, towering buildings reflected modern architecture at its finest, each structure a testament to the wealth and influence of those who walked its halls. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ It was no wonder Immaculate was Italy’s most expensive school. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The parking lot resembled a luxury car showroom. Sleek vehicles gleamed beneath the sunlight — Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Bentleys — the everyday toys of mafia heirs and heiresses. Here, having just one car was nothing. Some students flaunted four or five, depending on how rich their families were, or how high their ranks stood in the underworld. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Suddenly, two Ferraris glided into the lot, their engines purring like predators. Students froze, then erupted in a frenzy of cheers and whispers as the cars rolled to a stop. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Out stepped Oscar and Jaime. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Designers wears , Sharp stares— elegance poured off them effortlessly. The air itself seemed to shift in their presence. Girls swooned instantly, their hearts and fantasies tangled at the sight. Oscar and Jaime weren’t just students; they were gods on this campus, worshiped and envied in equal measure. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ And every girl was ever ready to surrender herself — panties and all — anytime, anywhere, just to feel chosen by them. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Oh my word!” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Can jaime be any less hot? Look at the way he’s staring.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Forget him — Oscar is looking so cute today.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “No, no, Jaime is the real deal. I’d die for that smile.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “I'm f*****g soaked just looking at him.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The students quickly pulled out their iPhones, snapping shots in secret. No one dared let them notice — being caught meant certain death. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Before Oscar and Jaime could take a single step, three more cars rolled into the lot, engines loud, music blasting. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Bianca stepped out first, dressed in her signature tomboyish style — a rugged denim cargo trouser, black crop top, and boots. Her expression was cold, unreadable. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Catherine emerged next, her curves brought out by a fitted short red gown paired with sleek black heels. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Lastly, Adeline made her entrance. She wore black boy shorts lined with stone-studded belts, a fitted tank top, and combat boots. A smirk curled on her pretty face, daring the world to look away. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Camera flashes filled the whole parking lot. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Oh my God, it’s the sisters!” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Bianca looks like she’ll kill someone today.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Forget her — Catherine is literally glowing. That dress!” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “No, Adeline’s the one. That smirk is deadly… and I love it.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Just five minutes after everyone cleared off, Kian arrived on his sleek power bike. He was the only one who came to school with a bike like that, a rare sight in the whole school’s car-filled parking lot. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ He was unrecognizable, dressed in a black hoodie with the hood pulled low, topped with a face cap, and finished off with a face mask. To the students, it was almost as if he didn’t exist in their school at all. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Slipping his bag onto his shoulder, Kian started walking. He had no idea that eyes followed him, or that whispers trailed behind: ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “He’s the guy Anonymous posted about last week.” ‎ ‎ “I swear it’s him. His height gives him away.” ‎ ‎ “Oh my heart—I’m tripping already.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Kian didn’t hear a thing. The music blasting through his headphones drowned out the world. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Inside the lecture hall, he headed straight for the last row and pulled out his laptop, relieved that he was unnoticed But then a random guy sat beside him. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Kian didn’t look up until a hand waved in front of him. ‎ ‎ “Hey, dude. Thank God you saw me.” The guy grinned. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Kian said nothing. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “I think we’re in the same department. I see you in almost every lecture.” The guy leaned closer. “What’s your name?” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Kian sighed quietly, eyes fixed on his screen. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Okay… my name’s Knox. What about you?” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Kian finally looked at him—blank, unreadable. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Oh. You don’t talk much, huh?” Knox mumbled, suddenly cautious. He decided to stop pushing. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The professor arrived soon after, and the whole hall fell silent. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ When the two-hour lecture ended, Kian shut his laptop immediately and slung his bag over his shoulder. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Bye,” Knox called, lifting a brow as Kian walked away without a word. ‎ ‎ “Whoa,” he muttered. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Are you seriously trying to be friends with that weirdo?” someone snickered from behind. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Knox turned. “What?” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “That guy’s strange. Always in black, never talks to anyone.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Knox just smirked. “Well… I like weirdos.” He picked up his bag and left the hall. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ DOOM LAND ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The name said it all. Dry soil, dead leaves crunching underfoot, broken buildings leaning like ghosts — the whole place reeked of death. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Three Rolls Royce screeched to a stop. Doors swung open and out came Godmother Jadeline, Bianca, Catherine, and finally Adeline. They strolled forward, heels clicking like gunshots, toward the poor bastard tied up ahead. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The man looked wrecked. Like he’d been dragged through fire and dropped straight into hell. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Mafia Lords Vikenzo, Jamie, and Oscar were already there, standing like kings over the ruins. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “He thought he could preach peace between the clans?” someone sneered. “This is what he gets.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Adeline didn’t even look. She was off to the side, sniffing coke and tapping her own head like a maniac. Whatever they planned to do here wasn’t her business. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “This is a warning,” Vikenzo’s voice cut through the silence. “Anyone who dares preach peace between the Alphas and the Morningstars—this is their fate.” ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Pfft. I can’t even stand the Alphas,” Bianca muttered, sliding back into the car. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ “Wait, we leaving already?” Adeline said, her voice hazy as she took another sniff. “Damn, I’m outta drugs. Let’s bounce.” She staggered toward the car. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Behind her, the man’s screams began. ‎
