Chapter Twenty COLTON It’s been one week since Presley left—the longest week of my life—and it’s taking everything I have not to text or call her. We agreed to go on with our lives, but I haven’t stopped thinking about her. Sunrises and sunsets, the tack room, and even my couch remind me of her. I just want to hear her sweet voice and boisterous laughter. It was always music to my ears even when she was laughing at me. I kick off my boots and stretch out on the couch.
