  I scavenged around my room searching for it. I looked under my bed and inside my drawers and closet and still, nothing. When I'd practically torn my room to pieces and I still hadn't found it, I made my way to my brother's room.   "Hey Linc," I said, trying to keep the panic out of my voice.   "Hey Angie. What's wrong?" He asked with a concerned frown on his face. He even put aside the novel he was reading. Guess I failed at acting calm. That or he was just being his normal, perceptive self.   "Nothing. I was just wondering if you've seen my old diary" I said still trying to project calmness I didn't feel.   "Your old diary? You haven't used that in years. Why are you looking for it now?"
