I laughed. "Could you please come over? I asked Dev to come too and he's gonna right after he showers"
"On my way. And this better be good gossip"
I smiled as I ended the call. She'd be disappointed but hey, what were friends for?
A couple minutes later, Melissa hopped into my room through my ever open window.
"You don't waste any time do you?" I said, trying and failing to hold in a laugh.
"Never. So what happened here? Did a tornado blow inside your room before I came?"
"Uh I think I'll just wait for Dev to come before I explain because I don't wanna repeat myself"
She sighed like a long suffering wife. "Fine. So, how'd it go with Xavier? Is he fine?"
"Yeah he's perfectly fine and part of what I wanna tell you guys so the wait policy still stands"
She groaned
