  I stared at him in absolute shock. For some reason I had doubted that he would actually ask me to go with him to his pack. I mean, as much fun as we had together, we'd barely known each other for a week. It was much too soon to be asking someone to switch packs. Of course I could always come back to my pack if something happened but I felt like the chances were low that the Alpha would accept me back.
