Chapter 91

956 Words

"Do you mind?" I asked, gesturing towards the door. "Of course not" he replied. He did not move out of my way. I raised a brow and he grinned, a very teasing grin I'd never seen him wear. It was very disarming and I found myself flushing again. I just couldn't deal with this side of Louis. No, that wasn't it. The truth was I couldn't deal with this side of Louis leaving. I couldn't deal with dismissive, rude Louis returning after seeing this side of him and knowing how nice he could actually be. I didn't want to get used to it only for it to go away and leave me feeling empty and hollow. I shoved the mat at him. "If you wanna be cheeky then you return it" I let it go and he had no choice but to grab it before it fell. By the time he looked up again I was already across the room.
