I ran through the forest feeling the wind bite at my skin and smiling through it. I'd missed this. I didn't know how much until I was doing it. I flew through the forest at an easy speed I'd never reached before. I was actually keeping pace with Melissa, though I suspected she reduced her speed for me. Still, I felt no need to hold back my wolf and I was loving the feel of it.
"What does he know about all this?" I asked Melissa.
"He knows you're missing and he knows Xavier has something to do with it. We tried to lie to him but he took one look at our faces and he deduced everything. That boy is way too smart for his own good" Melissa replied.
