TURN OFF

It had been a couple of harsh months. Work had been stressful and doctor´s appointments had been awful. They were now controlling their s*x life in every way... All that scheduled f*****g and the stress it carried with it had started taking a toll on her and now, to add to Ally´s already miserable mood, the holidays were approaching.

She´d never been a Christmasy person. In fact, she loathed it a bit. She just could never get why people spent so much time and money on such a stupid thing. The only moment she liked about it was putting on the tree, and even that took some convincing to finally talk herself into getting it done.

Now, they were leaving soon to her in-laws’ place for the season and she couldn´t help but dread it. They were both great, of course, but the thought of seeing them also reminded her of her failure in making them grandparents and it crushed her heart.

Of course she tried to remember Gus´s words every time she found herself immerse in those awful mental ramblings and she repeated herself over and over that she didn´t really owe anything to anyone. But in the end, thoughts proved stronger than words and she kept torturing herself with stupid ideas.

So naturally, she was barely at the end of her rope when a big project came to her boss´s door and he started demanding everyone to stay after hours to get everything done and meet their deadline.

-Ally I need you to test the site again- Adrian called out to her from a few feet away- I just made a few changes and I need fresh eyes on this.

-My eyes aren´t fresh Adrian- she replied tiredly- I´ve been at this for hours, besides I still have to do support work for our other clients.

-Just suck it up- He glared at her- ditch the others, this is priority number one now and you know it. Orders from above.

Ally groaned and opened another tab, loading the site for the hundredth time that day and she started scanning for errors.

She found five in no time and she documented them, then she did another take and found two more.

-s**t Adrian, how did you even graduate from school? Your grammar is awful!- she sighed- Just give me access and I´ll take care of it.

-Yeiii, thanks kitten!- he replied cheerfully as he sent her the passwords.

An hour and a half later they were still finishing the last details. It was already dark outside and everyone was eager to just drop everything and call it a day.

-Ok, we´ll pick it up from here tomorrow guys- her boss said popping his head out of his office- have some rest you all, see you in the morning.

Ally sighed in relief and swiftly grabbed her things, heading for the parking lot. She got into her car and just sat there in the shadows.

A few minutes later she felt the familiar heat of the tears running down her cheeks and she just let them flow freely.A heart wrenching sob emerging from her chest a minute later as her head went down the wheel. She felt so drained that she lacked the will to even start driving home.

She remained there for almost half an hour before finally gathering the strength to start the car and pull out of her parking spot.

As she cruised through the deserted streets, she found herself driving in autopilot and before she could register it, she was parking by a bar. She got off the car and shut it closed, then she headed for the door.

-Long time no see- Jack greeted her from behind the counter as she sat down before him-The usual?

-Hi Jack- she replied offering him a half smile- Yes please.

He put a beer in front of her, then he took out a shot a placed it before her and grabbed a tequila bottle, filling it to the brim. Then he reached below the counter and pulled out a glass, pouring some scotch into it. -There you go Ally- he smirked at her as he put the bottle back on its shelf.

-Thanks- she answered, starting to sip at her beer.

-How comes you´re back? – He asked after a while as he eyed her intrigued- I thought you said you weren´t coming back anymore, at least not in the middle of the week.

-Yeah well, you know, s**t happens- she bitterly scorned at him and took another swig from her bottle.

She slowly downed her beer before switching to her shot, she drank it, taking her sweet time as she watched the posters plastered all around to entertain her racing mind. And finally, she grabbed the short glass and sipped its contents unhurriedly. When the last drop slid into her mouth, she felt all her thoughts get numb and hush at last.

-Thanks Jack- she said leaving him the money for her round and a hefty tip.

-Anytime sweetheart-he replied waving at her and taking the money from the counter- Drive safe!

She drove home at a snail´s pace, realizing she kind of dreaded going home and the uneasy feeling that had been lingering in the back of her brain for days returned with full force.

-s**t- she muttered as she neared their neighborhood and when she arrived at their place ,she parked and lit a cigarette, deliberately stalling while puffing out smoke.

Fifteen minutes later, she´d had three more cigs and she finally couldn´t find another excuse to keep sitting in her car. So she opened the door and exited the vehicle.

She dragged her feet to the entrance and started climbing the stairs. The door to their apartment opened as she was at the middle of the steps, Gus poking his head out.

-Baby! Thank god- he said smiling in relief- I was just about to call you.

-Don´t worry handsome- Ally flatly replied, walking up to him and pecking his cheek lightly- It´s just work, they are making us all stay extra hours.

She scurried beside him and headed directly to the bathroom to wash her teeth and get rid of the stench of alcohol and smoke.

Then she sat at the kitchen counter while he fed her dinner and talked about his day, his voice turning into white noise as her mind flew far away.

Ally washed the few dishes before going to their room and getting into her pj´s, then she crawled into bed with a heavy sigh.

She turned her back to Gus. And a minute later she felt him approach her and his member poke her butt. She just closed her eyes and braced herself.

Ally rolled around to face him and Gus climbed over her, he immediately started kissing her and going down her body, she soon felt him at her entrance and gasped when his member parted her walls, stuffing her core.

Her mind spaced and went to everything and nothing at the same time as he sank into her.

She felt him stop after a moment and his finger darted to her chin, pulling it up, and making her face him. So, Ally found his eyes studying her with a frown.

-What is it princess? Where are you? Cause you´re certainly not here with me- he asked, scanning her features.

-It´s nothing, just keep going- she sighed.

Instead, he pulled out of her p***y and sat beside her.

-Ally, don´t bullshit me, I know your body like the back of my hand and trust me, right now it is just not responding to me, so tell me, what´s happening?

-I don´t know- she whispered turning her back away from him- I´m just not feeling it… maybe I´m just tired.

-Well- he said pulling her into a hug and snuggling behind her-Let´s hope that is the case, princess.
