SETBACKS

Ally sat at the waiting room of her gyn´s office. She´d been trying to read an old magazine, but all she ended up doing was holding it in her hands and staring at the words. Her mind flying away to her fears and worries.

More than a month had passed since she´d stopped taking the pill and her period was nowhere to be seen. At first, she was hopeful about it, but she should have known it couldn´t be that easy… when the test came back negative, she´d started to get worried.

She´d been on birth control for almost three years now, and her cycles had been a mess even before that, so she hadn´t really had a normal period in ages, at least not without the pill. And now she was so scared that she had started harboring the stupid thought that maybe there weren´t any more ovules left in her body.

Gus adjusted himself on his seat beside her and reached for her shoulder, pulling her closer to him.

-It´s gonna be fine Ally- he whispered-Now, stop thinking about dumb s**t.

-Mrs. Green? – A nurse called from the end of the hallway, her eyes scanning the room.

Ally stood up and began walking up to her, followed by Gus.

She led them to a big, well illuminated room and told them to sit. A minute later the doctor entered the place.

-Ally. Nice to see you again!- he said shaking both of their hands, nodding at Gus- Nice to meet you sir… So, are you here for your pap smear? – he looked at her in confusion-I don´t think that´s due yet.

-Nah doc, actually… I think I might have a problem…- she started.

After giving him a few explanations and answering some more questions, Ally found herself in a cold bathroom, holding a gown in one hand and her underwear in the other.

She sighed and threw the piece of fabric over her body, covering her dress and placing her panties over the sink´s cabinet, then she came out of the bathroom.

The doctor was already waiting for her and Gus sat beside the examination chair. She climbed up to it and positioned her feet on the metal supports, spreading her legs and taking a deep breath.

-Ok, Ally. Let´s take a look at your uterus and ovaries- the doctor explained- You might feel a little discomfort now.

He inserted the cold device inside her and she immediately reached for Gus´s hand. He held her hand as she gave him a little squeeze, wincing at the feeling.

-Well- the medic started- Your uterus is fine and normal, but as we already know, the real problem here is the cysts. You have multiple follicles, but they have not matured enough to trigger ovulation.

-Yes, you already explained that to me a while ago- Ally responded with a shaky voice, fighting her tears back.

-So, does that mean we can´t get pregnant? - Gus asked calmly

-No, not at all, you can, but it will be harder- the doctor gave him a half smile, then turned to look at Ally- First we need to reset your cycle, so you must apply an injection and you will have your period in a few days, then you will come back here while menstruating and we´ll start monitoring your cycle to see if we can make your follicles grow enough.

-Ok, that sounds good- Gus said cheerfully, rubbing his finger on the palm of her hand- We can try that!

-Yeah- she sighed- I guess we can.

They got out of the doctor´s office with a prescription for her injection and some clomiphene pills. Ally dragged her feet through the parking lot and into her car. She got inside as fast as she could and waited for Gus to enter the vehicle.

He climbed onto the driver´s seat and stayed silent for a while, staring at the horizon. Then he turned to look at her and rubbed her cheek.

-Listen Ally, I know you see this as a setback, but please, don´t lose hope, we´re just getting started here. We haven´t even really tried anything yet. So please, let´s just give this a chance and see how it goes.

-Ok- Ally said smiling- let´s do it.

They drove to a drugstore and bought everything they needed, then they headed home.

Ally was lying on their bed with her panties down as Gus got the syringe ready. She remained silent, with her bare ass facing the ceiling and bracing herself for the sting.

-It´s ok princess- Gus said rubbing a bit of alcohol on her butt cheek- relax

She felt the gentle prick of the needle and she flinched a little, but immediately remembered to loosen up, so it didn´t hurt one bit.

-There, it´s done- Gus said- You did good baby, let me dispose of this.

Ally remained sprawled on the bed with her rear up and when he was back, he rolled her around and climbed between her legs.

She reached for his shirt and pulled it over his head, then took a deep breath, inhaling his scent. She unzipped his pants and helped him getting out of them as well as his boxer, she grabbed his shaft and started rubbing it up and down, feeling him harden in her hand.

He let her continue for a few minutes before penetrating her and smiling when she let a gasp out at the contact of his pole widening her internally.

-f**k me senseless, handsome!- Ally cried, closing her eyes and pulling him harder into her.

He obliged and started sinking himself in her core with all his length and she screamed when it poked her insides and made her world spin with pleasure.

She felt him smile against her neck and he kept shoving himself into her tunnel, feeling her tightness grow with every passing second.

He held to her shaking legs and enjoyed the sound of her orgasm reaching its crest.

He pulled himself out and smiled at her, plopping beside her
