PARTY

Ally stood at the church´s entrance, frozen to death, the chilly air running through her light dress and making her shiver.

-You know? There´s still time… you could just walk away- her father whispered smiling into her ear as he offered her his arm- I could slow them down if you wanna make a run for it.

-I´m not getting cold feet dad- she replied smiling- I´m just a bit nervous.

-Just kidding baby- he chuckled- We all agree the man is a saint for sticking by your wayward ass.

She hardly noticed anything or anyone while they walked together down the aisle. Her eyes focused on a single image: The radiant smile on Gus´s face as he stood patiently by the end of the hallway. The sparks at the corner of his irides luring her forward.

Her dad hugged him briefly before handing her arm to his and they both turned to look at the priest.

Ally wasn´t much of a religious person herself, she would have been fine with just standing before a simple judge at a random courthouse. But her parents sure were, and she´d ended talking herself into doing it their way, as it also meant she was finally willing to take this commitment to a higher instance.

If she was going to do it, then she´d better do it well.

-You look beautiful, princess- Gus whispered, leaning down to her ear, while they stood still, holding each other´s hand, with their edgy smiles frozen on their faces.

She stole a glance at him briefly and smirked.

-You don´t look bad yourself either, mister- she whispered back- I´m looking forward to see that tux on the floor of our hotel room.

Gus fought his laughter back as the priest eyed them scoldingly and tried to keep on going with his sermon.

Ally spaced out as she focused on Gus´s hand holding hers, running his finger down her thumb as they sat side by side.

-Gus- Ally´s voice trailed off shakily as she forced herself to continue with her vows- You are the most amazing person I have ever met, you make me be thankful of waking up every morning, cause that means I get to spend another day with you. I promise I´ll try my best no to mess this up. And I promise I will do everything I can to love you the way you deserve, each day of our lives.

-Ally- he started, smiling- I can´t promise that our future will be perfect or that we will not find bumps in our road. But what I can do is offer you my everlasting love and the certainty that I will always be here for you. I will be happy to walk by your side every mile of this quest for happiness. Princess…I will love you till the end of my days, and that, I can promise you.

When they slid the wedding bands onto each other´s finger and the priest finally declared them husband and wife, Ally´s mom started sobbing so hard her dad had to hug her back to calm her down a little, swiftly offering her his hanky.

-Kiss me, Mrs. Green- Gus whispered, smiling while he parted her lips with his tongue and sucked the breath away from her heatedly.

Aubrey treated them with a beautiful rendition of the Ave Maria before they all took a bunch of pictures and finally walked outside, while being cheered by all the guests.

They stood at the entrance for a while, being smothered by the surrounding crowd and Ally spent a lot of time, kissing and hugging people back, smiling and thanking them all.

She´d cut most of her extended family out as she hated them, and she´d stuck only to friends and close people. So, the smile plastered on her face was truly genuine as she loved every single one of them.

She was good with having Gus´s family around, they were all great, but when it came to hers, she simply couldn´t stomach the idea of all that nasty people gossiping and criticizing every aspect of their wedding, so, in the end, she just decided to leave them out of it and spare herself the bitter taste.

And now, she stood by her choice. It was awesome! They could all go f**k themselves, for all she cared.

-Welcome to the club!- Jo hugged her sweetly while Saul held little James, their three month-old, a few steps behind her.

-Yes!- Ally replied hugging her back- now we can go crazy, start a book club, drink lots of red wine and do all that stupid s**t married bitches like to do.

-Count me in for the wine- Jo laughed.

Saul crushed her lungs as he hugged the breath away from her.

-Congrats Ally! I´m so happy for you both- he cheered-Hey, be nice to my brother here- he said patting Gus´s shoulder.

-I will- Ally answered kissing his cheek.

-C´mon guys, I´ll drive you to the party!- Adam called over the noisy chattering- let´s go- he said pulling them both out of the crowd.

Ally´s eyes glazed as they danced to Journey´s “When you love a woman” song. It had been Gus´s choice and she couldn´t help but shedding a few tears while he held her tightly close to his chest and sang the lyrics into her ear along with Steve Perry.

-I love you Ally, I´ll be right back- he said before spinning her around and putting her hand into her dad´s- Sir…- he said nodding at him politely and then reaching for her mom- Ma´am would you have this dance with me?

-Don´t cry, baby- Her dad muttered, wiping a tear away- It´s your big day.

-I can´t help it- Ally said looking up trying to prevent any more tears to exit her eyes- I´m so happy I could die.

-That´s a good thing, honey- he replied smiling at her- You know, for years I used to think no one would ever be good enough for my baby. But you made a great choice and I´m proud of you Ally. I know now I can rest assured he´s gonna take good care of you.

-Oh dad!- Ally whimpered- Now you´re making me cry again.

They spent the night dancing and having a great time. They´ve kept the guest list short but the crowd was enough for them all to have a blast and manage a proper party.

Ally laughed, drank, and danced all around. Her joy dripping from her pores and making her face glow.

The party was almost reaching to an end when she felt Gus´s hand slide against her waist from behind and pull her close to him, his erection poking her a little as she continued to dance.

-What you say we leave this people to their fun and go upstairs so I can finally make love to my wife? -he whispered into her ear, making her panties instantly wet.
