Chapter 12
"I think I'm just gonna go. Carry on. Pretend I was never here."
I step back carefully. One of the mime raised his hands to me to indicate stop and I hault my movement. He makes weird gestures and all the rest start approaching me at a slow but creepy pace.
"Um what is happening? Don't come any closer!! I'm warning you!! I have a shoe!!" I say removing one leg of my shoe but it's doesn't do anything to phase them.
I look about frantically as they surround me. They collectively pick me up and I begin screaming. "Help!! Help me!! I knew this day would come where mimes would take over the world and eliminate all non mimers starting with me!!! Don't just sit and watch me die!!! HELP!!" No one seems to want to help me. Some stare in confusion, some actually laugh at my predicamen
