Chapter 18
I eventually got bored staying home alone so I decided to take a walk around. Snatching my back from my desk, making sure I had enough money. I took my phone along and headed out. Where I was going I had no idea but I was going anyway.
I started walking aimlessly until I decided to take a cab.
"où manquer? (Where to miss?)
"Um..somewhere interesting," I told the driver not even thinking if he understands what I said. But luckily he did and I couldn't be more grateful.
I was lost in the evening view. It seems this place never runs out of life. In the mornings, there are people out and about, in the afternoons too but the evenings/night seem to be the highlight of this city.
