Oakley hasn't slept well. I know he's only very young, but I think he knows his mum has gone. He misses her. The more I try to figure out my missing memories, the more confused I get. How can I still remember my time with my son but not her? It's as if I have false memories planted in place of the ones taken. I saw the moment Derry had erased herself from my life. Mickey had shown me and I keep replaying her exact words “I was a human, I died during childbirth. Continue life without me.” then she turned to look directly at me and said “You have healed, you don’t even miss me because you never got the chance to know me. You will raise our son exactly how you planned.”
