Hawk’s POV.
I rock Oakley to sleep in his pram after his feed, and then I make a giant cup of coffee before sitting down to write the hardest letters I’ll ever write. One to my mate, and one to my son. My hand shakes as I bring the pen to the paper. I don't want to do this, because writing these means I'm not confident I'll come out of this battle alive, but I also can't risk not saying the things I want to say.
