Derry’s POV.
I orb straight to our bedroom in the cabin. It's not as damaged as the rest of the cabin, there's mostly just smoke damage in here. I close my eyes and imagine it clean and restored to how it was before. When I open my eyes again, I smile. This is such a handy gift. I can't wait to test it fully. I wonder if I could build a whole new house for us. That's definitely something to try later. For now, I have a mate bond to repair. If I can build at least some of it back before I give him all his memories, then maybe my rejection won't hurt him so badly. Although I'm not sure if it's even possible to have a bond when he doesn't have his wolf. I have to try though. I orb back to the clinic, ready to take Hawk home.
