The Battle of Southsea:
This story is inspired by true events — The Battle of Southsea that took place in Portsmouth in the summer of 1874 when working-class men and women rose up to prevent the landed gentry from taking possession of a section of the Southsea Common. The People won and the rights of the people are preserved to this day.
