SIXTEEN In Committee Room A, in the bowels of number 10 Downing Street, the members of Cobra, senior politicians, both government and opposition, high-ranking military personnel and civil servants, sat patiently awaiting the arrival of Mackeroon and Blogg, PM and deputy PM, who had had a prior meeting to be briefed by Jim Samuels from MI5.
