Miller POV I ran for the Cornucopia, hoping to snag some food and supplies. There was movement in the corner of my eye, and I saw Venus scorching past me into the Cornucopia. She grabbed something and threw it at me. Crap. Celestial POV In the seconds before the Game started, I couldn't stop my tears as I clutched my token. I turned to see Peppermint glaring at me. "Quit crying and get your game face on," she hissed. I felt her determination and fury spreading to me and I stood tall. I'd make them pay for my blood. They were nothing but bullies, and I'd dealt with bullies all my life.
