Kara's POV The alarms were blaring, and wolves were rushing around the camp, panic inv their eyes. I felt my heart race as I tried to make sense of what was happening. "Fenris, what's going on?" I asked, grabbing his arm. "I heard something about the Purifiers?" Fenris's face was grim. "They know we're coming. They've set a trap." I sucked in a sharp breath. "A trap? But... King and the others..." Fenris pulled me close, his eyes pleading. "Kara, you have to stay here. We need your leadership to defend the camp." I shook my head, my mind racing. "No, I have to go.
