KARA'S POV
I stared at Fenris for a while again, taking in every detail. His hair was still the same dark shade, his eyes still held that same coldness. The years hadn’t changed him much, at least not on the outside. He looked exactly like the last time I saw him, which was both comforting and unsettling. It was as if time had stood still for him, while so much had changed for me.
My attention was suddenly distracted by another Alpha who approached me.
“Miss Kara. How are you?” He greeted me respectfully, his tone warm and friendly.
