My whole body ached as I stood there, watching the chaos unfold around me. The glowing eyes of our attackers sent chills down my spine. I'd never seen anything like this before.
"Fenris!" Kara's voice cut through the noise. "On your left!"
I spun just in time to see a wolf lunging at me. My reactions were slow, too slow. Pain shot through my side as I tried to dodge.
