I stepped out of Kara’s home and saw Cyril my most trusted bodyguard, a beta waiting outside the car.
My lord he bowed.
Let’s go I said and entered the car as he opened the door for me.

What just happened? I thought. Why was I erect? Why would my body react to that murderer?
Then I remembered my daughter and my heart was filled with so much love for her instantly.
