CHAPTER 6

AVA'S POV My palms became sweaty, my legs were shaking. But he grabbed me firmly by the waist, pulling me towards him, his lips brushed, my nostrils. I shut my eyes, ceasing my breath. Where's this leading to? I couldn't ignore the pang in my heart. It's obvious something spicy was going to happen and I just couldn't wait any longer. I parted my lips, wanting to take him in when his phone rang. He instantly stopped moving. Our erotic gears took a break, heavy breathing erupted before an abrupt stop. He pulled away, releasing me totally. “Ahhhh!” I let out a grunt, stamping my foot on the ground. This could only be my moment and this call had to come? I'll strike the person if I know who he is. What the hell? “It must be urgent,” Xavier uttered. No matter what or who it was, I didn’t give a f**k. How dare he disrupt our moment? He pulled out his phone, peering into it. His eyes widened. “Who's that?” I lip synched. “Your dad,” he replied almost in a whisper. “What?” My lips broke into a fit of shocking gasp. He shook his head. “Nothing to worry about,” he replied, still in a whisper. Non-chalant. He tapped on the Answer button, I presumed, then took it to his ear. “Hello buddy.” He began. “Yes!” The call was on speaker. I grabbed my chest, hearing my heart beating so fast I feared it would jump out of my chest. His eyes locked on to mine, then trailed down. “How are you and my daughter doing?” He asked. I'd been raised from a conservative family and I knew how strict my dad was, if he knew I was prepping to f**k his best friend or that I had sucked his c**k, he will kill me. I looked up at Xavier, calling for help. I'm dying here. He responded to the call, sliding towards me. His hand curved over my waist, slowly and loosely at first. But then in a swift motion he pressed me tight against his side. “We are doing just fine,” he paused. “She's certainly getting more familiar with her new environment.” He gave me a pointed stare, his pupils dilated. He doesn't mean that. He means I'm here to get familiar with him and his body. His lips, hands and c**k. These three who would skyrocket me to bliss with their seductive touches. “College will start in the next month, can you take her on a tour to the summer classes?” “Ahh–” I gasped. “That's her, right?” Dad asked. “Yes.” Xavier replied. My voice was gone, my heart almost bursting. I feared I'd barely be able to speak. “Can you give her the phone?” He asked. Alpha Xavier lowered to my sides, whispering. “I'll let you have me only if you speak well before your dad.” My eyes grew wide and wider. Time froze. Was he for real? He tilted his head. A slow nod followed, his eyes brightened. A witty smile curled out. Trust me! I got the phone. The stiffness faded, the shyness vanished. My body burnt with anticipation. If this is the case, I never felt nervous. “Dad?” I rang out in an excited tone. “Good morning, dad.” “Yes darling. How are you doing? Hope everything is going well?” “Splendid. Everything is great. I love my new environment so much. The estate is a fresh start for… my college–” “Why are you so excited?” Xavier’s eyes locked. His deep eyes, his strict look returned. A warning glare. You've got to behave yourself. I heard it. I cleared my throat. “I just find the environment too bright and soothing and Alpha Xavier is the best guardian to me. He even cooked for me.” “Shouldn't you be the one cooking for him?” The arousal spiked. “I–I just–” I plan on doing more than just cooking. I muttered. Xavier snatched the phone from me before I could say anything else. “She doesn't need to cook for me, I can cook for my daughter.” My p***y clenched. Why didn't you think of me as a daughter when you shot your c*m down my throat. “What the f**k did you say?” I shot the question. A tiny smirk touched Xavier’s mouth. “What about when she finds her mate?” Dad asked. Silence took away. Xavier's face twitched into a frown, he then looked away swiftly. Ohh …. Seem like someone is really interested in me I looked away to hide the blush with the redness of my cheeks. I wasn't worried. He's mine. I'll make him mine. I'll buy him with my body. No matter how bold I acted it was still my first time having intimate contact with the opposite gender. It was amusing seeing him jealous of the imaginary mate my dad talked of. “This doesn't matter,” he muttered, lip tight. For a few seconds, nothing was said. I was left hanging in the air. “It's okay if you say so after all she already knows how to cook. But you can teach her American dishes.” “You can take her on a lot of lessons.” “Driving.” “Defense.” “Moral?” I marked it wrong in my heart. Dad just doesn't know how wrong he is. My aim was to make Xavier teach me immoral lessons. “Dad,” I cut him off, going closer to Xavier, my body pressed against his under with the pretense of wanting to speak on the phone. “Yes?” “Dad, you said I'm gonna attend Summer classes? But it's not compulsory?” “I don't want to go dad,” I grumbled, stamping my foot on the ground. Xavier gazed, partially amused and on the other, concerned. “You've got to take your studies seriously.” “Yes, exactly. You can't be idle.” Dad took over. “But I have Alpha Xavier, I have my second daddy.” The words spilled out of my mouth without realizing. “And Xavier doesn't stay at home all through, he goes to the office. He has his office at the estate and also outside. He's busy during the day.” A flicker of shock graced my eyes. I didn't know that. I thought as the Alpha, he ran all of the pack's affairs from home, only stepping out when there's outdoor obligation. “I'm quite sure you don't wanna stay at home doing nothing,” dad hissed. “You hate to be lonely, don't you?” He taunted me into persuasion. While growing up, I always loved the constant presence of the one that meant much to me, my dad. My mom left me as a child to be with another man, her fated mate as she claimed. I cried myself to sleep every night, evolving into a depressed girl. That was when dad quitted his outdoor job to come stay at home with me. Seeing my miserable condition, the Alpha of our pack granted him a work-from-home permit. Alpha Xavier would often come to spend a week or two at intervals while dad was forced to be away in the midst of his work being the Alpha's PA. That's when I grew up to be addicted to having a loved one always present but now I know as an adult, I've got to let others live their lives without tying them down. But I just can't let go of Xavier. I've let go of my dad. I believe I'll be able to spend the next few years without him constantly present. But as for Xavier. I would say– That's a big NO.
