'Is she saying they accept me?' Selena asks via mind link, and I kiss her hair.
'That is exactly what they are saying. Didn't your father tell you already?' She had explained over mindlink what transpired between her father and her earlier.
'Yes, but I never thought it went for them all. They accept me, Caleb.'
'Is that so hard to believe? You are amazing.' She snorts.
'You really think so?' Instead of mindlinking her again, I answer her out loud.
"Yes I do, and they do as well." I turn my attention to the screen. "She would love for you to come and visit her. She is just a little overwhelmed at the moment. Much has happened today." Mom comes over and hugs Selena from behind, whispering comforting words in her ear.
