"What about you?" I ask Amber after looking everything over and blushing in embarrassment that this is even necessary. She smiles.
"I got a lot as well. I also lost everything." She says, her eyes sad. I swallow a lump. "Anna says you went there this morning and almost killed the future ranked males." My blush deepens.
"Maybe." Amber doubles over as Zane and Jamie's mothers come over. They ask what is so funny and as Amber explains the joke, both of them shake their heads with big smiles.
"My husband already made the mistake of underestimating you. One should think my son would not repeat the experiment." Beta Cathrine says with a roll of her eyes.
