Aila was trying her best to concentrate on her work because if she can’t do this then she won’t be able to do anything.

She heard a knock on the door.

‘’Come in.’’ giving her permission.

‘’Mam Mr. Zander is here.’’ Her receptionist said telling her about his arrival.

Feeling her heartbeat rise she looked at her confused.

‘’He didn’t ask me to come that day? Then why today?’’ Aila said to herself.

‘’Pardon mam.’’ She said hearing Aila speak something.

‘’’ Send him in please,’’ Aila said in response.

Zander came after a few minutes. Looking his best in another black dress coat. Taking away the shaky breaths from the poor girl completely.

‘’How are you doing these days?’’ he asked in a concerned tone the moment he saw her.

‘’Good. Thanks for asking.’’ Aila answered his questions trying her best to sound professional in which she somehow succeeded as well.

‘’it feels strange,’’ Zander said hearing her reply.

‘’What?’’ Aila asked confused.

‘’You speaking politely.’’ Zander once again teased her.

‘’Well this is how a professional conversation is supposed to take place and I am doing it like that too,’’ Aila said in an irritated tone.

‘’Well look who is back.’’ Zander laughed seeing the rude energy back in her. His smile which turned into a laugh made Aila feel a weird sensation in her stomach.

Aila knew he did too much for her by now. If he wanted something he would have taken it by now. But then what a man like him would want from her. He had everything one would want.

‘’I changed your mother doctors. They will try their best.’’ He said telling her that he once again succeeded in doing something.

‘’Thank you for everything. If there is any way I can pay you back. Please tell me.’’ Aila said feeling happy for all he did.

‘’There is something I want.’’ He said in response. Making her feel a rise in her heartbeat.

‘He does want something from me.’ She thought to herself.

‘’What is it?’’ She asked in response. Her voice wasn’t confident like it was used to this time.

‘’Let's date.’’ He said making her choke on her coffee.

‘’You okay?’’ Zander asked looking at her response.

Aila nodded her head shaking her hand telling her that she was perfectly fine.

‘’You can’t run from it.’’ He said staring at her.

‘’Is this really what you want?’’ Aila asked showing how shocked she was.

‘’Yes.’’ He said making his words final.

Aila couldn’t believe she said yes and now sitting in the V.I.P section of the movie cinema.

‘’You made a good decision,’’ Zander whispered in her ear.

‘’I owe you. How can I say no?’’ Aila said in response not knowing if it was true or not.

The whole movie Aila kept her face forward and succeeded in watching the movie with full concentration. But this didn’t seem to be the case for Zander.

Not for a single second, he stopped starring at her throughout the whole movie.

‘’This isn’t the way to my apartment,’’ Aila said noticing the route Zander was taking.

‘’I didn’t say it was,’’ Zander said smiling.

‘’Then?’’ Aila asked getting a little scared.

But instead of receiving an answer from him, she met with his eyes which were demanding obedience at the time. Aila knowing that she owned him the date. Clenched her hand on the seat belt feeling hot all of the sudden.

Zander took her to his house and felt amused at seeing her innocent reactions.

‘’There are clothes for you to change into before going to sleep,’’ Zander said while Aila followed his words without even saying anything.

Zander was waiting for her outside while she looked at the comfortable nightdress like others. It didn’t seem too hard for her to wear.

Having thousands of thoughts on her little mind she wasn’t able to go out at all. After spending almost an hour inside she pulled her courage and stepped out only to meet with a sleepy Zander who was on the sofa seat near the bed.

Seeing him in his sleep for the rest time. Aila forgets about her all insecurities and went to him silently not wanting to wake him at all.

Sitting on the bed she stared at his perfect features. His sharp jawline and long lashes. He had the face of Egypt god and none less. But the face wasn’t the only thing which she was seeing right now.

She was looking at her mixed feelings in front of her which were quite clear but still she didn’t want to accept those under the situations.

Not knowing when Aila fell into deep slumber looking at Zander.

He got up after some time, seeing Aila in front he smiled knowing why he had to wait this long.

‘’I am willing to wait. But I can’t compromise you.’’ Saying this Zander covered her in the duvet and keeping his hand on her hand from back laid beside her.

‘’Good night,’’ Zander whispered in her ear and slept.
