EXCITEMENT!

ANIYAH POV:

“Who is he?” Elsa asked getting out of the bathroom. I completely forgot about her.

I went blank after knowing that I was alone with her and knowing my dear friend’s nature. I know I was going to spend the night with her awake. Because I know I can’t escape her nonstop questions.

‘’Nothing. You must have heard wrong.’’ I said lying to her which I am really bad at. But what can I do when things are already like that.

‘’I don’t think. You betrayer! You have a crush on someone, don’t you? I already knew something happened at the function day.’’ She said sitting dramatically on the bed taking the pillow in her lap and kept looking at me until I opened my mouth.

‘’No. it’s not liked that. You are misunderstanding everything on your own.’’ I said explaining which didn’t seem to work on her at all.

‘’No ways. It’s you who is trying to hide things from me. You betrayer.’’ She said in an angry tone which I wasn’t able to tell if it was true or not.

‘’No, it’s not like that,’’ I said but it came out whining.

‘’Then spill the beans. Why you are so suspicious these days?’’ she asked glaring at me. I think I have to surrender and tell her those meaningless things to clear myself in front of her.

Explaining everything A to Z I somehow felt relieved and scared at the same time too. Relieved that someone knows what was going on with me but scared of that someone who might just make a storm of light breath taken in anxiety.

Why? Because I know my dear and most lovely friend very well. And there comes no if and of when she does things. She is one of those who do before they speak. Sometimes I love her for that but sometimes things can’t be handled like that, can they.

‘’So you mean all this was nothing. You seriously say that.’’ She said in end making a serious face I never seen her make before except on exams.

‘’Yes!’’ I said confused, and look at her waiting for her to make her respond.

But met with another surprise. She broke into fits of laughter and looking at her I also chuckled.

‘’You are not allowed to laugh. You were supposed to tell me this earlier but kept it from me. You are not a good friend let me tell you.’’ She said getting back to her angry face and I also controlled my laugh in response.

But looking onto each other for some time we weren’t able to control and laughed at our stupidity together. After speaking for a while time passed real quick and we decided to sleep as we didn’t want to sleep for late and miss the fun in the morning.

[IN MORNING:]

‘’Aniyah….. Aniyah….. Aniyah…..’’ I heard my name from a similar voice getting increased by each repeating. I wasn’t ready to open my eyes and lose the peaceful feelings of sleep but had to do it as I knew that my mother was the one calling me.

Opening my eyes slightly I opened my eyes and saw her taking out some clothes one by one. I got up lazily in bed.

‘’Good morning,’’ I said in a sleepy tone.

‘’Good morning MS lazy.’’ She replied and sat in bed with me.

‘’We have a lot of things to do before we can enjoy the trip with double pleasure.’’ She said adding up to her words.

‘’What? How? Why are you saying this?’’ I asked confused and extend to know what was left out of our list.

‘’There is going to be a feast tonight in which many special events take place. And this year they will perform especially for some VIP guests. And we are lucky to get this fest tonight as it's going to be a full moon tonight and the view will be unbelievable.’’ Mom said explaining. While my excitement rose with each news.

‘’Then what are we waiting for?’’ I said getting up excited. My sleep was completely gone by the time right now.

‘’Easy girl. Easy. As it's going to be a mega fest so we need to prepare for it and you can’t attend I you sweat pants. So girl you better wear something nice and especially something which I will choose for you.’’ Mom said putting stop to me and telling me about the hard part of reality. Well, they say you have to do something to get something nice in response. So maybe I will have to do this.

‘’How do I look?’’ Elsa asked getting out of the bathroom I peach-pink skirt with the back bottom touching the floor. She looked beautiful but I wasn’t going to say that just like that was I. That’s not how things go with friends and especially with best friends.

‘’You look marvelous dear. The dress suits you well. So beautiful.’’ Mom said praising her honestly and sweetly.

‘’But not like me,’’ I said to tease her and see her response to this.

‘’Don’t be rude, Aniyah. And she at least looks better than your sweat pants.’’ Mom answered instead of her and my plan backfired at me instead.

‘’Mom…’’ I said looking at her with disbelief but once again things didn’t go my go.

‘’Okay. Okay, stop. I sent you father and brother to get some accessories for us from the est mall and in meantime have your breakfast with Elsa.’’

Things went just as my mom said and it was some evening. My mom got our dress ready. Elsa already wore her dress completely and now putting on her makeup I went inside to put on my dress.

It was back and red gown with glittering work on it. Too much to wear but its beauty was end fold than its size.

UPCOMING:

‘’KISS ME!’’ I said looking at her gorgeous face which lost its color after hearing my words.
