HER DEVIL

‘’Who is this kid?’’

AUTHOR POV:

It was never a complexion you get from a perfect-looking person. She felt the insecurity inside herself anyone would have felt after knowing the only person they have is now to be attacked and a powerful person can take the person away from them.

‘’Greetings my lord. You got more handsome than the last time I saw you from close. All we get to see is from the news. Tell me did you missed me?’’ she spoke nonstop which showed how frank she was to him.

Aniyah was silently looking at the women she never met or thought she met and don’t remember.

‘’What do you want by coming here?’’ Alessandro replied in his cold tone which confused Aniyah on his response.

Smiling nervously and hiding her embarrassment at his cold remark she noticed the young girl beside him. Or should say a girl beside him for the first time. Thinking of all the reasons she didn’t waste time to find about it.

‘’Who is this kid?’’ she asked using the kid as a word on purpose trying to make it clear that even if she had some relation with him it was baseless but the reality was far away from it.

‘’Your queen, not a kid. She is my fiancé.’’ Alessandro replied in a stern voice and a frown on his forehead which indicated his wrath mode and Aliza knew it very well.

‘’’ What a surprise?’’ Aliza said in response not wanting to lose any more points.

‘’You should get some rest. You must be tired.’’ He said softly to Aniyah making Aliza burn in the fire of jealousy.

‘’And what about me?’’ Aliza asked smiling or trying to as it seemed fake.

‘’Do you plan to stay?’’ Alessandro asked raising one eyebrow.

‘’I don’t remember a time when I left the castle without staying here for some good long time,’’ Aliza spoke showing her shameless plans.

‘’Whatever, this castle has enough rooms for officials to stay.’’ He said coldly and taking Aniyah’s hand in his walked inside.

Aniyah was silent because she had hundreds of questions running inside her mind. Who was the woman she just saw? Did she know him for a long time? Why wasn’t she aware of her? If she was someone from his old times then why she didn’t know about his engagement.

‘’Who was she?’’ Aniyah asked while walking more like following him as he was leading with his hand holding hers.

‘’She is the daughter of an accomplice of mine,’’ Alessandro answered honestly as he only thinks of her only like that.

‘’Did I knew her before?’’ Aniyah asked while not knowing how her grip on his hand became a little harder.

‘’No, you didn’t as I don’t like you disturb your happy life by adding an official thing.’’ He spoke a statement true and lie. True that he plans that lie that there was no past for him to do that.

‘’I see.’’ She replied with a light heart this time and a smile coming on its way.

She went back and time passed quickly. Alessandro left to get some work done when Aniyah woke up and found the drawing material in her mind. A good painter she was but forgot.

But seeing the brushes her body seemed possessed which started doing its work and our passed just like that.

She was drawing the beautiful view seen from her room window when the door opened with no voice and she didn’t notice. But the one entering wasn’t the only one looking at her.
