I had no idea that Missy was that well off. I mean, I know she was well off in a sense, but not that she was a stinking Scrooge McDuck well off. Investing and buying houses out right is like another world to me. I’m struggling to pull enough money together to pay off Hailey’s mom so I can keep my daughter. If buying and installing a jetted bathtub after spending nearly 70 grand on repairs is not a big deal to Missy, I can’t even comprehend how much money she must have.
It kind of makes me uneasy. I’ve got so much baggage coming into this relationship, and Missy, who is already perfect and amazing as it is, is filthy rich.
