A trembling voice emanated from the phone's speaker. "w-we... we're trying to locate her."
"You will lose your job if you don't take me to her within the next ten minutes," Vandy snapped, ending the call impatiently and setting the phone down. As he turned, he saw Riri approaching with two boxes of ice cream.
"Your son will like vanilla because every intelligent person loves vanilla," Riri said coolly, her large eyes blinking.
Vandy's lips twitched at her logic. Squatting to her height, he gently took one of the ice cream boxes from her. "Thank you, Riri. Where is your mom?"
With a blink of her eyes, Riri excitedly asked, "Do you want to see the big baby?"
Vandy was momentarily speechless. He had been asking about her mother; what did this have to do with a big baby?
