Upon hearing Riri's words, Vandy's face grew even gloomier. He was well aware that Lionel had deceived the little one with his seemingly harmless appearance. There was no pretentious devil who could compare to him.
Vandy set Riri down and glanced at Rex. "Take her to the car," he instructed.
Rex stole a glance at Lionel. This was the first time he had seen his father giving Riri the cold shoulder. It was clear that this self-proclaimed uncle was bad news.
"Riri, let’s go wait for Daddy in the car. He has something to discuss with handsome Uncle," Rex told Riri, who was reluctant to leave.
"Okay," she agreed, taking Rex's hand. She turned to Lionel and said, "Bye, handsome Uncle."
"See you next time, Riri, my dear beautiful niece," Lionel replied with a meaningful smile.
