It was a teary goodbye for Cara and James as we bid them farewell but an impatient one for Damon. After saying his goodbyes to his parents and giving them a brief hug, he marched to his car.
"Don't forget to visit soon." Cara said, pulling me in for another embrace which would be the fifth one since we told them we were going back home.
"I won't." I said, smiling as Cara released me.
I was going to miss their warmth and was sad to let them go as they were. Who wouldn't be sad to leave when they would be living with the ice king?
