I felt the weight of the dagger concealed within the sleeve of my leathers. There was a small space between where my armor met my gloves where I could slide it out. One last choice I would have to make before the Démenci could reach me. It would take one flick of my wrist, and I would bleed out before anyone would be able to stop me.
