Time was a constraint known only to mortal beings. The passage of time limited that which man could accomplish. For a mortal body could only accomplish so much before it was returned to the earth that had created it. Man perceived life and death to be two sides of the coin of time - once one side ran out, only the other existed. It was why the passage of time was feared nearly as much as death.   The contradictions of time were endless. Time was infinite, yet people complained of not having enough.
