ADRIANA’S POV
The walls are adorned with intricate frescoes and gold leafing, the high ceilings adorned with sparkling chandeliers. The floors are made of gleaming marble, the cool surface polished to a shine. The place is more intimidating than welcoming but I can't deny that it is very beautiful.
The maid leads me to a staircase, the polished wood gleaming under the soft light of the chandeliers. We climb up to the second floor, the soft sound of our footsteps echoing through the silent hallway.
Finally, we reach a door and she stops. I breathe in, trying to calm my racing heart as I wait for her to open the place I guess will be my new room, my new home.
