CHAPTER 1

302 Words
Sophia's POV The calming scene of the night sky filled with stars definitely does give me hope. That feeling of peace, that I dont need to worry about the difficulties of life. I don't have to worry about what the next day brings or having to do chores till I can't feel my legs anymore. That's why it's night don't you think? But it can be short lived when the sun peeks out at day break. Sophia, why aren't you up yet? that is the voice of my sister, Faith. My name is Sofia Jack. I am 23 and i live with my foster family. Coming right now. I screamed my reply. i quickly put on a pair of blue jeans and a big shirt, tied my hair in a messy bun to keep it from falling over my face as i ran down the stairs trying not to miss a step. Oops! that was close. Did you forget about my breakfast? if I am late today you are so dead. she screamed at me. I managed to mumble an apology before I made my way to the kitchen to make breakfast. I decided on making oats and toasts with eggs. If you think sonic is fast, he isn't close to the speed I work with when I am cooking. The kitchen has always been the one place in this house I am not worried I will get screamed at. actually, they still do scream at me but it's to place their others on how quickly they need there food. They would never admit it though but they enjoy my cooking. I ran out, quickly setting the table and serving their meals so i could have my breakfast and focus on other things for the day. its what you are guessing... chores.
