IVAN'S POV (Mesmerized)

521 Words
The thought of a short holiday away from work has been roaming around my head for a while now but I have been pushing it aside for a long time. My body screamed at me to take a rest which I finally agreed on by sleeping in for an hour longer before deciding to get out of bed. I picked up my phone to check my schedule for the day unlocking my phone with my thumb. I ran my hand through my hair in frustration when I realized how much I had to do. I placed my phone back on the night stand and walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower allowing the hot water pour down my skin, fully walking me up. Nothing beats the sooting feeling of a hot bath. Deciding I have had enough I got out and toweled my body dry, I walked out of the bathroom and walked straight into the walk-in closet and grabbed up an all black outfit, dressed up before running a comb through my hair to tame my unruly curls except for a few rebellious once in front that fell forward. For my finally touch I bathed myself in my lavender fregranced perfume that blends well with my minty body wash before leaving the room to head down stairs. "Good morning Mr Scott" I turned to see Grace my house keeper in the dining room placing my breakfast on the table. I greeted her and took a seat to have breakfast, though I did not feel like it back Grace would nag me about not taking care of my health. She always puts up that mother hen nature when it comes to my eating and health, the woman isn't scared and I know why. " I will be bringing her home today" she rose her brows questioningly "Sofia I mean" she smiled before saying, " everything will be ready when she comes " I nod before leaving. Fred, my driver was already out with the car. I let myself in replying to his greeting with a nod and giving him the location to Trent's house so I could get over my business with him, that greedy bastard. "Good morning Mr Scott" Trent voice brings my attention back from wondering around the house. I had earlier ignored the greeting from the two that seems irritating to me. The younger one looking too excited to see me than needed but I knew she wasn't Sofia. I reluctantly took Trent's hand in a shake. At that moment I noticed the presence of a girl making her way down the stairs, her eyes not leaving the ground which I assumed was because she did not want to make I contact with anyone. She looked vulnerable but beautiful, her red hair framed her face perfectly flowing down her back. Trent took that moment to introduce us which made her lift her head to say something but got stuck in her speech before finally greeting with a simple "Hello Sir". In that short time I got lost in her brown eyes that could set one on fire.
