******Theo's room*********
The bathroom fell into a heavy silence. The water rushing down their body
steam rising into the air and wrapping around them
Elle sat stiffly on Theo’s lap, her body tense, unsure of what to do next.
Her hands rested awkwardly on her thighs, her breathing uneven
Theo watched her closely.
Not with desire ,but with something deeper. Something unreadable.
“Relax,” he muttered.
Elle swallowed hard. Relax? How was she supposed to relax in a situation like this?
“I… I don’t know how,” she admitted softly, her voice trembling.
For a moment, Theo said nothing.
Then, unexpectedly, he reached for her wrist.
Elle was fully n*ked now
Elle flinched.
“I said relax, stop frickin out” he said calmly.
His grip wasn’t rough… just firm enough to steady her.
Slowly, he guided her hands into the water.
The warmth made her shiver.
“You’re shaking,” he noticed.
Elle looked away. “I’m not used to this…”
Theo leaned back slightly against the tub, his eyes never leaving her face.
“I know.”
That response caught her off guard.
what does he know
Her brows furrowed as she glanced at him. “You… know?”
“I won't force you to sleep with me,” he said simply.
Elle didn’t fully understand what he meant, but somehow… it made her feel a little less afraid.
A little.
The sound of water filled the silence again.
Theo reached for a small cloth beside the tub and dipped it into the water.
“Turn around,” he instructed.
coldly
Elle hesitated.
“Do I need to repeat myself?” His tone hardened again
Quickly, she obeyed.
Her back now faced him, her heart pounding louder than ever making it almost audible to hear
Theo pressed the damp cloth against her shoulder.
Elle froze.
She had expected something else… something rough, something forceful.
But instead…
He was careful.
so as to avoid injury
Almost… patient.
Her breath hitched as he moved the cloth across her skin, washing away the that clung to her.
“Why are you doing this?” she whispered
Theo paused for a moment and then continue
“For someone who talks too much in her head, you ask very little out loud,” he replied.
“That’s not an answer…”
“It’s the only one you’re getting.”
Elle bit her lip as Theo interrupted her
Silence returned again, but this time it felt… different.
Less suffocating.
*******Meretti Empire**********
Priscilla stood in the dimly lit hallway in her father's house, she was holding a cigarette
She couldn’t get the image out of her head
A girl… in his space.
A girl who didn’t belong there.
“No… I won’t allow this,” she muttered under her breath.
Just then, a shadow appeared at the far end of the corridor.
A man stepped forward
it was her father
Priscilla straightened immediately putting the cigerate away before he arrived at where she was Standing. "Dad?”
The man chuckled. “You are smoking again? prisy.”
“No am not .”Priscilla said
He stepped closer.
“yes you are,the smell is all over the place."
she secretly rolls her eyes
"I hope you are not thinking of Theo and his new wife" Her dad said adjusting his coat
Her father was one of the biggest person closer to Theo's father even before Theo was born
Her father is so fu*king rich that no one dares to look at her twice
He is the only doctor who had treated the Marino's and that how she got the chance to be with Theo
"Whatever". she said blinking her eyes repeatedly
Maybe this was her chance.
She needs to do something.
******Back in Theo’s empire*******
Elle stepped out of the bathtub, wrapping a towel tightly around herself.
Her mind was a mess.
Nothing had gone the way she expected.
Theo wasn’t what she thought he would be.
Maybe those things she heard about him was all a lie
Killings and all that....how come the man was different towards her
And that scared her even more.
Because now…
She didn’t know how to read him.
Or maybe she is reading too much into it
Behind her, Theo lit another cigarette, watching her quietly.
still the same old gaze she saw when she first met him at her father's house
“You’re thinking too much again,” he said.
Elle turned slightly. “You’re… not what I expected.”
Theo exhaled smoke slowly.
“Good,” he replied.
“Because you shouldn’t expect anything from me.”
His words sent a chill down her spine.
“Go to sleep,” he added coldly.
“Tomorrow… things change.”
Elle’s heart skipped.
things change?
“W-what do you mean?” Elle began with her fears again
Theo’s gaze darkened.
“You’ll find out"
He shifted his gaze away from her
Elle laid on the bed facing upward, her hand placed on her stomach
she was intimidated by Theo presence in the room
Oh tomorrow what?...
what's going to happen to her tomorrow??
was he going to make her see her parents
No! he wouldn't have such a plan for her
She really need to sleep to avoid thinking too much...
