Her heart sank as she watched him disappear into the hallway. For a moment, she thought she had imagined him or maybe the guilt of not seeing him at the hospital had conjured the image. But no, she was sure she saw right. It was Sebastian. She had seen that profile far too many times to mistake it for someone else. The familiar set of his shoulders, the way he stood slightly leaned to one side, and the quiet confidence in his posture.
