Accordingly, it is one week since the Earth was supernaturally and harmlessly stopped in its rotation, making the sun apparently halt dead in the sky. Rioting came and went with a change in the scalding weather. Now another deadly threat is looming in the near future, famine. With the sun immovable, crops have failed wherever the sun may shine, essentially North and South America. Canned foods are not enough to wait for the super corn to be proliferate in the agriculture system. It is slow getting canned food stuffs restocked on the grocery shelves. This in turn leaves some with food and many without, forcing the government to tap its hidden food resources deep within the Department of Health and Human Services, but it is still not enough.
