Ally replies, “Glendale, both of us. We’re not quite moved in together yet.”
Karen cuts in, “I didn’t realize we were so close!”
“Well,” Ally explains, “we were busy doing all that other stuff. It just didn’t come up. It’s going to make things so easy when I get my stuff but I’m waiting until after the weather breaks.”
Karen nods. They both realize the futility of Ally moving her things if everyone is going to die soon.
This escapes Tracy, begging to both of them, “Can you guys come with so I can get some stuff from my apartment? It’s got a great view of the ocean and the pier.”
Ally concedes, “Things being what they are with riots and all, it might not be a bad idea if the three of us stuck together. So, yes, we’ll come with you, Tracy.”
