It was a lazy Sunday morning, the sun is shining brightly and gracing its warmth through the windows. Reva was seriously typing her assignments that have to be submitted before her exam on Monday. She is half-way through the completion. Saturday she spends her time studying for her exams and now it's time for her assignments. Suddenly her phone started ringing. It's an unknown number. In a confusion, she attends the call. "It's me, Victor," he revealed before she could ask. His voice sounded sweet on the phone and it doesn't fail to give chills to Reva. "Oh! Is this your number?" Reva asked. "Yes, save it but don't share it. This is my personal number," he warned in a calm way. "Sure, I won't," she giggled silently. "Our wedding is next Saturday. Are you okay with that?" He asked in an uninterested way. Even if she objects he isn't in the idea to listen to it. When yesterday she went to visit her grandpa, Mr. Jones was already there. He informed her that they'll be more likely to get married by next weekend and told about how busy Victor in this whole week. So now he told the exact date. "Hmm yes my exams will be completed by Thursday, I am free on Saturday," Reva replied. "As you wished and my wish, the marriage is going to occur privately in my father's hometown. I have invited only my close relatives and friends and you have to invite your friends." He told. "Sure I'll do it," Reva replied. "Then?" She added biting her lower lip. "I called you because I am going to get my tuxedo for the wedding and you have to buy your wedding dress, right?" Victor asked and then Reva realized that important thing. "The shop is owned by my friend so he wanted us to purchase there," Victor asked. Reva wanted her wedding dress to be designed by Helen but she's too hectic with her orders and she can't design and finish a pretty wedding dress to the date but she has suggested some shops to buy. Reva was thinking to go there but thankfully Victor took her worry. But again there comes this thing, "Right now, I am working on my assignments. Maybe after an hour or two, I can come with you." Reva hesitantly asked hoping that he won't agree to that. "Okay, then I will come there take you after... three hours," Victor stated and Reva was elated by his reply. "What are you coming here!" She kind of screamed after properly understanding his statement. "Yes, wait before your house," he added. "Do you know my address? How do you know?" She questioned. He huffed. "I asked your grandpa," he replied in annoyance. "Okay," she ended her questions. "I will wait for you," she replied and Victor ended the call not even hearing that. He smirked and tossed the phone on his table. Reva didn't take a break and completed her remaining assignment without blinking her eyes. At last, some two hours later she got up from her seat closing her laptop. She had a satisfying smile but still, there are few things to add on that assignment. Her stomach growled in hunger, she made a banana smoothie and drank it while looking at her wardrobe. She's still in her pajamas. After much thinking, she decides to go for Jean and t-shirt instead of a dress or skirt. She doesn't want him to think that she dressed for him. She took a bath and wore the clothes hurriedly. She tied her hair in a ponytail and applied a pink lipstick which she usually does every time. Then her round glasses completed her look. That time her phone starts to ring. It's from Victor. Carrying her purse she opened the window to see Victor. All of a sudden he looked up. Reva's heart trembled to see him but hiding that inside, she signed that she is coming. Taking one last look in the mirror, she headed outside locking the door behind. She came out of her apartment building, Victor is dressed up in blue denim jeans and a black shirt which is perfectly fitting on his toned body. He was standing beside his brand new Mercedes and waiting for her. His eyes were covered by a black ribbon cooler so Reva couldn't guess his reaction. Whether he's happy, excited or just normal. But Victor attracted her effortlessly. Reva with a small smile looked at him but Victor turned without minding her smile. He's avoiding me? What the hell? She rolled her eyes seeing his imprudent nature. Victor opened the car door for Reva and she's surprised. Just now you ignored me but now acting like a gentleman eh? Reva mentally chuckled. "What? Do I have anything on my face?" He asked driving the car. "No," Reva nodded and turned her attention to the road. "You said it's your friend's shop. Is he a girl or a boy?" Reva asked since she's too bothered about it and she mentally slapped herself for asking it out of her control. Victor removed his glasses, his piercing blue eyes looked her in a funny way. "It's a guy okay, he owns a lot of shops. Have you heard this brand called Cherie?" "Yes," "He owns it," Victor said. "If you don't like any dress from the shop, then it's fine we can go to another place because I don't like compelling anyone. And this is your first marriage you should wear something you love," he blurted out. "What?" "Sorry misspelled, I mean this is an auspicious event in our life so you should wear something you love," he told. "If that's the case then we are going to marry not by love," she chuckled. "But we can say it as-- for the love we have on our loved ones we are going to marry," Victor smiled and Reva couldn't control her smile seeing his good side. Damn! she cursed feeling her racing heart and his smile is so charming. "You're right," Reva looked away to catch her breath. "I know we are marrying out of compulsion but I want at least this small thing can make you smile on our wedding," he told his perspective. "Thanks," Reva smiled hearing that. Then an awkward silence remains until Reva starts to speak, "Who are all coming for our wedding from your side?" "Hmm, my close friend Garry and Ethan are coming with my dad. My dad's sister and my cousins were living in the hometown so obviously they will be present." "Oh," "It's a small town and we are all going there on Friday morning," he explained. "That's great," she told and they reached the shop. All the staffs were ready to welcome them in the front. Reva got down and followed Victor. "Mr. Victor, this way sir," A lady guided him. "Okay," "And Mrs. Victor you can come this way," another lady said. "You chose your wedding dress. I'll join you after selecting mine," Reva agreed and went with the lady staff. They were all showing the beautiful wedding dress she has only seen in magazines and the internet. Strangely she liked everything. Then finally she decides to try a half shoulder long-sleeved floral designed wedding gown. She undressed and they helped her wear it. When the curtains opened Reva saw Victor. He's mesmerized in her beauty and he smiled eventually. "How I am looking?" "Beautiful," Victor said. This is not the first time Victor is admiring her beauty. The moment he met her something more like magic has happened. 'Thanks," Reva turned to see in the mirror. She couldn't figure out anything from his stern face. "I will get this dress," she said to the lady. "Sure, Ma'am. Do you need any alteration to be done?" "No, it's perfect," Reva told. They came out paying the bills. Reva was quite surprised by the bill. It's costly. "Don't they give any discounts. Since it's your friends' shop," Reva asked him when he gave the credit card. He chuckled and didn't reply. They came out of the shop, "Do you want to go home or shall we go for lunch?" Victor asked with a smile. "I want to go home," Reva said and Victor's smile faded hearing that. "But before that, I want to have lunch with you. so let's go to a good restaurant," she bites her lower lip telling that. "Sure," Victor grinned.
